ACCOMMODATION
The cat chalets are set in the spacious gardens of our Queen Anne farmhouse. Each unit has a fully enclosed and insulated sleeping quarter with a window and transparent cat-flap. Thermostatically controlled slim-line radiator panels or heat lamps provide heating to the whole chalet. These elevated chalets open on to individual exterior runs that have translucent roofing giving protection against extremes of weather. Running around the exterior of each unit is a secure corridor leading to the cattery kitchen and main door. Each chalet is separated from its neighbour by Perspex sneeze barriers to minimise any possible spread of infection. We also have a floor- length chalet to cater for our more elderly residents when required.
BEDDING
We provide each cat with a plastic bed and soft acrylic Vet-bedding. Should you wish to bring your cat’s own bed, towels, cushions or toys from home you are most welcome to do so. Also, scratching posts are welcomed .
FOOD
We normally feed your cat twice a day (kittens or elderly cats can be fed 3 or 4 times per day if required) and request that you provide your cat’s own food in order to avoid upsetting their digestion and routines. It does help if you write down your feeding instructions and also don’t forget the measuring cups.
